4/6 Chakra and beyond of it – by Nancy
Last week, I got to learn what is chakra. Chakra refers to the wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. As I learned, to visualize a chakra in the body, imagine a swirling wheel of energy where matter and consciousness meet. This invisible energy, called Prana, is vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.
I also knew each chakra’s colour, element , locations and sound. It is quite interesting, because every chakra is related to our health as well. In addition, I knew that muladhara, swaddhisthana, and manipura are close to ourselves;Ajna and sahasrara are close to universe;
Anahata and vishuddah are transition chakras. Now I realised every posture will be main to certain chakra, so that I could apply this knowledge to arrange yoga class better.
Beyond the chakra, we also shared about something related to Star Children and astral projection, which is not common to hear during our daily life. My first time to know star children are divided into three categories: Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow.
Yoga Class is not learning all the postures, but also all the principle of how to discipline yourself, how to love people, and also how to make a healthier life and so on.
