#Parsvabakasana /#sidecrow I’ve been thinking about what kind of yogi I want to be. There are so many yogis, teachers or just practitioners out there, whom I really look up to- for their mental and physical strength, but also a steady sense of outwardness that I think really establishes the connection between people • • I can’t say I’ve mastered the outwardness bit: I’m quite an open book, I don’t need a meme to tell you how I’m feeling rather awkward or uncomfortable (MY FACE IS A MEME) & Looking straight at the camera makes me mighty uncomfortable, I die a little inside! Ahh as with making eye contact for extended periods… makes me brain fart verbally! • • Which is frustrating(!) I feel like I break all the fragile bridges when all I want to do is connect with people and listen to their stories. Connection to me is; when I introduce my friends to each other and they become great friends; or when I recommend little bits of the things I know about music/gigs/shows/reads/YOGA! and it becomes a newfound interest for them, you know, stuff like that. For that reason, I don’t think I’ll have a dedicated profile just for yoga, mixing it all up can’t be a bad thing 😉 • • So I shall be working on it, and be like a sidecrow- not quite crow but A TWISTY CROW, to be open to everyone and anyone from all walks of life.💪🏼 oh and if you have story to tell about yoga/music/school/anything really, I'm all ears 🙆🏻

I’ve been thinking about what kind of yogi(ni) do I want to be. There are so many yogis, teachers or just practitioners out there, that I really look up to- for their mental and physical strength, but also a steady sense of outwardness that I think really establishes the connection between people:

I can’t say I’ve mastered the outwardness bit:
– I’m quite an open book, I don’t need a meme to tell you how I’m feeling rather awkward or uncomfortable (MY FACE IS A MEME)
-Looking straight at the camera makes me mighty uncomfortable, I die a little inside. Ahh as with making eye contact for extended periods…

Which is frustrating(!) I feel like I build bridges when all I want to do is connect with people and listen to their stories. Connection to me is; when I introduce my friends to each other and they become great friends; or when I recommend little bits of the things I know about music/gigs/shows/reads/YOGA! and it becomes a newfound interest for them, you know, stuff like that. For that reason, I don’t think I’ll have a dedicated profile just for yoga, mixing it all up can’t be a bad thing 😉

So I shall be working on it, and be like a sidecrow- not quite crow but A TWISTY CROW, to be open to everyone and anyone from all walks of life. 🙂
