Ishvara Pranidhaha (ec)

I need more ishvarapranidhaha in my life, both on or off mat. The idea of surrounding, letting go, trusting beyond yourself, trusting the universe is probably one of the hardest to follow, for me at least. I require the sense of control in my life so you can imagine why I feel it’s one of the hardest niyama to follow. I’m currently at a point in my life where I honestly do not know where or how to take my career forward. I have had one too many moments of panic where I over think things and worry. But lately, thanks to the opportunity to be exposed to the niyamas, i’ve learnt to slowly let things be…

It’s such a helpful daily reminder to surrender and put our energy into the present moment instead of worrying about tomorrow.
My husband will be so proud of me if I can practice Isvarapranidhaha well. He calls me a worrywart. Well, I am. But I’ve been living in the present, letting go of the things I can’t control, and just focus on the now.
