Time flew past, today is YTT’s 9th lesson! Before the course commenced, I wondered what would be taught and the intensity of the class. What would be required for one to be a certified yoga teacher? What exactly is yoga? Often we hear the thoughts of yoga as “easy”, “relaxing” (hmm… maybe in Savasana aka Corpse Pose? lol), “for flexible people”, “deep stretching”, “funny poses”, etc. It’s not exactly wrong… but.. probably I would say that Yoga is like an approach that allows you to learn to focus and connect your mind and body, integrating into one. Of course with the unique poses, it challenges your mind and body. The benefits? Improves your inner self internally and externally!
